MINOR INTER PARTES | Teatro Ensalle
PERFORMANCE, DANCE-THEATER
Minor inter partes is the second part of the trilogy that began with Baleiro and, in a sense, takes place afterward. With the symbols and their meanings stripped away, and the discourses and narratives emptied of their substance, the audience will accompany Ensalle and Juan Navarro to the “backstage” of that shabby television set, to the backstage of that“fake reality show.”
And what remains after that emptying? Well, surely, a void, a hole that serves as an invitation.
In this piece, the void is not merely displayed—it is shared.
The hole left by the void will be the first element of this new world and will bring us together like a bonfire, like an oasis. There are no creators and no audience; there are inhabitants of the void welcoming their new neighbors. We will share the customs, the language, the rituals, the celebrations, and the
morning exercises that unfold in this place just around the corner.
Minor inter partes is a home that exists only in our imagination and in our bodies, and we will have to build it together. We invite you to be part of the founding of this re-world, of this re-emergence.
At Minor inter partes, we want to congratulate you in advance for the boldness of having come.
When was your last detachment?
