A string quartet accepts a new member for a performance, unaware that the guest does not possess the same skills and qualities as a performer. What initially provokes rejection and judgment toward the new member transforms into empathy and compromise, as they accompany him through his struggles so that the relationship evolves toward tolerance and acceptance, fostering communication and generating a new harmony that will allow them to laugh at the archaic protocols and the apparent excellence surrounding classical music.
