EL ARCÓN DE NOA | Amarelo Cía.
DANCE FOR CHILDREN
What if, upon opening a toy chest, you found an entire world inside?
That is what happens to Noa. She inadvertently crosses into a magical universe where her toys come to life. But that world has a queen—Xana—and to her, Noa is an intruder. The clash between the two leads to consequences neither of them expected.
Noa’s chest (El arcón de Noa) is a dance performance for the whole family. It explores the challenges of arriving in a place where you don’t belong, learning to coexist with those who are different, and discovering that you can go further together.
Through the language of contemporary dance, the use of objects, and interaction with the stage environment, the performance reflects on bonds, community, and territory.
