This show, with the ironic tone that characterizes Elahood's creations, explores the fears surrounding failure and adulthood. The artists, just in their 30s, perform an exercise of intentional defeat in the face of the demands of success and stability.
Within this conceptual framework, the Elahood company delves into one of its movement specialties, Waacking. A sociocultural movement focused on free expression and the celebration of identity and affective-sexual diversity. This style, highly characterized by precision and expressiveness through music, allows them to indulge in defeatism. Thus, they investigate the limits of the ridiculous, deforming the meaning of failure in a dynamic and irreverent show.
